Community Get Together

Are you active in the community or would you like to be. Then come and let’s get together. Groups will be sharing what they are up to with some holding their AGM (JPA and Flower Show). Bring a meal to share afterwards. Who can provide some entertainment?

Growing Vegetables Organically

Leni 1Leni Teng, well known Willow Grove vegetable and seedling grower, will conduct a workshop on vegetable growing at the Jindivick Community Garden on Saturday October 10th, at 3pm. Participants will learn Leni’s secrets on sowing and raising vegetables, and get a a pack of 8 of Leni’s seedlings. Afternoon tea included, cost $30 per person.

Jindivick Antique & Collectables Fair

The Jindivick Hall will be full interesting items. Come and see, discuss, questiion, learn, value. We have a range of stall holders from the professionals to everyday people getting rid of their collections. Come and get that book, come and gaze at the china, come and ogle the jewellery. You will be amazed at the variety. Hope to see you there.

Baw Baw Shire Council Draft 2015-16 Budget Information Session

The Jindivick community is invited to attend a draft budget information session. Baw Baw Shire Councillors will give a 10 minute briefing on the draft budget which will be followed by 20 minutes question / feedback time.

Opening of Libby Witchells exhibition Collected and Connected at the Red Tree Gallery Laurie Collins sculpture Garden

Libby has created a series of paintings and assemblages relating to a fire that went through her place in East Gippsland in 2014. This exhibition has been at Sale and Meeniyan and now it is on view for the month of may at The Red Tree Gallery. The opening is on Sunday 17th at 2pm and Libby will be present to talk to guests. The show then continues until the 27th May
